Wall of Tears is one of the most important historic sites in the Galapagos Islands. This wall was built in the 1940s and 1950s by prisoners who were sent to Isabela Island. Perhaps not something you’d imagined to visit during a stay in Galapagos. But in is this particular case, it's not about the destination; it's about the journey.

In the Wetland Complex, you will find short trails you can take to explore the area and see various lava formations.

Throughout your hike, you will likely see Giant Tortoises and many Galapagos sea birds.

We recommend you to go on this trip if you want some quietness or if you are in the mood for cycling.
Best time to go – early mornings (around 6-7am).

What to bring: repellent, sun block, and water.
